-(50x)^2=-2500x^2 !!!
(-50x)^2 = +2500x^2
But the actual question is -50x^2 and this cannot be simplified.
to get -50x^2, you must square the whole equation. Therefore, it would then be -50*-50=2500. x^2= x^2. The new equation is now 2500*(x^2).
