1,234,567,890 So What to do you do?

You count from the right until you reach 2 inclusive,

You get 9 right? Then you put the decimal point (.) in front of the 1st.

digit,

1.234567890 Then myltiply it by 10 raised to the power of number of digits you counted

above, which was 9

Thus it becomes: 1.234567890 X 10^9
