How do you create a different base for the log of a function?

You can use the Change-of-Base formula:

If you want the new base to be 'b' and the number that you want to find the log of 'x':

logb(x)  =  log10(x) / log10(b)     or     logb(x)  =  ln(x) / ln(b)
