How do you find the average of positive and negative numbers?

Just add the numbers and divide by 2 as we normally would.

For instance, the average of 10 and -2  = (10 + -2) / 2  = 8/2 = 4. And this is true because 4 is an equal distance between 10 and -2  ....!!!
