Ok since yeah I need to learn, could someone just help me understand exactly what I need to do to get the answer for these three questions, thanks :)

2x(x+3)+4(x-1) =

8(2x^2-3x+1)-5(3x^2-5x+1) =

4x^2(x-y^2)-3x(1+xy^2) =

Emily, i think we will solve them like

1). 2x(x+3)+4(x-1)  So now we will multiply 2x by x and 3 which gives us 2x^2 and 6x!And also multiply 4 by

x and -1 which gives us 4x and -1x

=$$2x^2 + 6x+4x-4$$  ( so now we will simply multiply or subtract them as they are placed)(here we just have to add 6x and 4x )

$$=2x^2+10x-4$$ $$ANSWER$$

I hope u've understood by now but if not then pls be free to ask!

hope this helps!

Im working on the other ones and post my answer in this same post when i solve them!
