I need the help with 12<2x+8 less than or equal to 4. please this paper is due in the morning.

I assume you have this :

 

12 < 2x + 8 ≤ 4       we need to get just "x" in the middle.......first, subtract 8 from everything....this gives....

 

4 < 2x ≤ -4       now......divide everything by 2

 

2 < x  ≤ -2     we can leave this in this form ..... or this form  (−∞, -2] U (2, ∞)

Then

Divide all three by 2.
