Let Hanna's average speed=H, the Amal average speed=H+5, but we have,

3H + 3(H+5)=297

3H + 3H + 15=297

6H=297 - 15

6H=282 divide both sides by 6

H=282/6

H=47 miles average speed of Hanna,but we have

47+5=52 miles average speed of Amal.
