If a triangle's base is 8 and its height is 6 less than its area. Then the area=
So we have
Area =(1/2)(Base)(Height)
A = (1/2)(8)(A - 6)
A = 4(A - 6)
A = 4a - 24 subtract 4a from both sides
-3A = -24 divide both sides by -3
A = 8 sq. units
I know this
Area=Base*Height/2
The rest? Not sure.....
