if G(x)=g(g(x)), find G'(1).

according to table

x     f(x)     g(x)     f'(x)     g'(x)

1      3        2        4          6

2      1        3        5          7

Use the chain rule.

g'(g(x)) multiplied by g'(x)

Replace all the x's with 1

g(1) equals 2 so plug that into the chain rule to get:

g'(2) multiplied by g'(1)

Now plug in g'(2) and g'(1)

7 plus 6 equals 13.

So 13 is your answer.

Oh I see. I added 7 and 6 when I was supposed to multiply.
