y=3x^3-192

To find the y intercept, set x = 0     and we have     y = 3(0)^3 - 192 =  -192 ........so the y intercept is:  (0, -192)

To find the x intercept(s), set y = 0

0 = 3x^3 - 192         divide both sides by 3

0 = x^3 - 64        add 64 to both sides

64   = x^3        take the cube root of both sides

(64)^(1/3) = x  =  4
