Jasira doesn’t understand why 0.1 is larger than 0.09.

 

Tell Jasira to divide .1/.09 and see what she gets. If the result is greater than 1, then that means it is greater. Do the reverse and see. Another simpler way of seeing it is to multiply both numbers by a 100 =.1 X 100=10, while .09 X 100=9. Now, can you see which is bigger?

ANOTHER way of looking at it... You have to ADD .01 to .09 to get to 0.1
