Physic question: Fg= G(mM)/Rsquared m= 0.25 kg, R = 6.4 x 10 power of 5 g= 9.8 G= 6.67 x 10 power of -11 I need to get a value of positive 24 but I keep getting a value of -24 My goal is to prove that the mass of the earth M is 5.98 x 10power of 24

I think you must mean  mg = GmM/R  (as F = mg and F = GmM/R2), so:

M = gR2/G

But you need to be careful with units.  G = 6.67810-11 m3/(kg.s2), g = 9.8 m/s2, but R = 6.4*106 m

M = 9.8*(6.4*106)2/(6.67*10-11) = 6.018*1024 kg

Also, you made a mistake in giving R=6.4 x 10^5. It should be 6.4 x 10^6.
