What is the largest possible product of 3 primes which sum to 200?
thx in advance!!!!!
I also believe that the Guest's answer is correct........to see why........note that 2 MUST be included in the sum......if not, the sum of any other three primes less than 200 would be odd since all the other primes less than 200 - besides 2 - are all odd.......
Thus......we're looking for the largest product of two primes that sum to 198.....this will occur when these two primes are nearest 198/2, i.e., 99.......the two primes that fit this bill are 101 and 97
The best that I can come up with is the following:
2 + 101 + 97 =200
2 x 101 x 97 =19,594
