What is 0.39 (as repeating decimal) as a fraction? Or just how to find out what it is.
If just the 9 repeats, the answer is
[39 - 3] / 90 =
36/90 = 2/5
If the 39 repeats, the answer is
39/99 = 13/33
.39X100/100=39/100 .399X1000/1000=399/1000 .3999X10000/10000=3999/10000....etc.
Guest #1 answer is the closest.
I assume the .39 repeating portion is the '9' i.e. .3999999999999999999....... ( and not .3939393939393...)
