We can use the tangent inverse to find this:

tan-1(200/80) = about 68.2°

Find the angle of elevation of the sun if a tower 200 meters tall cast a shadow 80 meters long,

Well, use the tangent function:

tan=Op. Side/ Adj. Side

tan(x)=200/80=2.5, Now will find the inverse of tangent or arctangent of 2.5=68.2 degrees, which is your angle.
