-sqrt(x)=64 is the same as: sqrt(x) = -64

 

Solve for x:
-sqrt(x) = 64

 

Multiply both sides by -1:
sqrt(x) = -64

 

Raise both sides to the power of two:
x = 4096

 

-sqrt(x) ⇒ -sqrt(4096) = -64:
So this solution is incorrect

sqrt(4096) = 64 or -64

-sqrt (4096) = - (-64) = 64  ???   maybe?
