The volume of a cube of side length L is L3, so L = 3√216 = 6 cm

The area of one face of the cube is L2 =36 cm2

You can work out the total area of all the faces from that.

I may be wrong but I think lateral area is the area of only 4 sides.  The top and bottom don't count.

You can google it and find out if I am correct.
