the point (8,-5) is on the graph y=f(x), which point must be on the graph of y=(3/abs(f(-x+1)-2))+5.

We know that f(8) =  -5

Set -x + 1 = 8 (so x = -7).  Then abs(f(-x+1)-2) = abs(-5 -2) = 7, so y = (3/7) + 5 = 38/7

So the point in question is (-7, 38/7)
