I know that tangent of x = cosx/sinx but I need to find tan(x) = sqrt(3) when x is between 0 and 2pi . Im still new to rig,so any help would be useful, and please explain/show work. Thanks

tan x = √3

We can do this in several ways.......one way is to take the tangent inverse [arctan] of √3.......so we have

arctan √3   =  60°  =  pi/3

This is  also true at 240°  =  4pi/3
