What is the cos of A if the hypotenuse is 15, the opposite side is 12, and the adjacent side is 9?

I don't know what the cow would be... LOL... but

CosA= adj / hyp = 9/15

Maybe this will help you remember this:

Some old hags  : can't always hide : their old age

sin = opp / hyp : cos = adj / hyp    : tan = opp / adj

I tried to diplay this better but our display facilities are not working properly.
