Sorry, I was confused by the zero  in front of the one. My husband who has prostate cancer and is on threatment and these are his PSA levels. The 0.17 is from four months ago and the 0.010 is current. I wasn't sure if his level went down by just a bit or a lot.

Thanks,

Thank you bioschip,

Thankyou for answering but please do not use the word 'obviously'.  What may be obvious to you may not be obvious to the question asker and it is not a polite word to use.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

Difference means subtract the little one from the big one.

When you subtract decimals you have to put them under each other in the usual way.  Just make sure you line up the decimal points so

0.17_

0.01

-----

0.16

It appears to have gone down a lot.

I just googled PSA levels but it was a bit confusing.  I hope your husband is responding well to treatment.

Melody.
