what is the formula for surface area of a rectangular prism

A rectagular prism has a length a breadth and a height.

It has 6 sides in total.

Work out the area of each side and then add them all together to get the surface area :)

Given: Surface Area of Rectangular Prism, such that a rectangular prism exists & IS SO NO TO BE CONFUSED WITH A TRIANGULAR PRISM.

i) Since the Volume of a Rectangular Prism = r^3, the Surface Area of a Rectangular Prism is the anti-derative I believe, or to say it in layman's terms, the Integral of 1/4r^4.

ii) Therefore, the Surface Area of a Rectangular Prism = 1/4r^4
