Well... that is a hard question. Philosophy is probably the most extremely difficult concept to grasp because of its interpretation of human nature. First, lets look at Socrates. He was an ancient Greek Philosopher whom believed that the knowlage of nothing was true knowlage of everything. Let me explain, the more you don't know, the more room you have to learn, and admitting that you know nothing will allow you to open your mind to learn everything. He said "The oracle said that I was the wisest of all the Greeks, because I knew that I know nothing." From a philosophical standpoint, this is really the reality of life. Creation is another aspect that Socrates stressed, that humans create art and culutre because we wish to be remembered. From a religious standpoint, the results are endless. From Christian views, life is about living in Jesus Christ. In Buddhist insights, it is about being the best person you can be and becoming into the forever lasting state of Nirvana. In a Jewish standpoint, you are forever one with Yah'weh. Hindus believe that the meaning of life is to become one with Brahma. Muslims believe in becoming part of Allah. There are so many philosophies and values that can be put into one simple question.

The meaning of life is to achieve different things that other people can't do or to make your mark in history or somewhere else.
