which number that we times give 189 when we adding give -34

x + y = -34   →      y = -34 - x

(x)(y )= 189     so      ( x)(-34 - x)  = 189   simplify

-x^2 - 34x  = 189      rearrange

x^2 + 34x + 189 = 0   factor

(x + 27) (x + 7) = 0      and setting each factor to 0,   x = -27    or   x = -7

And whichever x is, y is the other.......

I thought of this and came up with that if we multiply 63 by 3 we get 189 but I still can't figure out the second part of thequestion!
