-\frac{3x}{2}<\frac{49}{4}\qquad $swap sides so reverse inequality$ \\\\
\frac{3x}{2}>-\frac{49}{4}\qquad $mult by neg number so reverse inequality$ \\\\
\frac{3x}{2}*\frac{2}{3}>-\frac{49}{4}*\frac{2}{3} \\\\
x>-\frac{49}{6} \\\\
x>-8\frac{1}{6} \\\\$$

 

Sorry I had the wrong denominator.  I think it is correct now.
