francis earns $3.50 an hour mowing lawns, and Bella earns $5.25 an hour babysitting and spends $11 a week on books. Francis also gets $4.10 a week allowance. If Francis and Bella work the same number of hours and have the same ammount of money at the end of each week, for how many hours a week do they each work? (show work)

Let the number of hours per week =H
3.5H + 4.10 =5.25H - 11, solve for H
4.10 + 11.00 =5.25H - 3.5H
15.10 =1.75H
H = 15.10 / 1.75
H =8.629 hours per week that Francis and Bella work to have the same amount of money.
