(-4,-5);Undefined slope

y=mx+b

-5=m*-4+b

-5=-4m+b

b=4m-5

y=mx+4m-5

There are infinite possibilities here because no slope is specified.

The equation of a line in standard form is  y = mx + b     where m=slope.

For this ONE poinnt     the equation looks like     -5 = m(-4) -1    or   y = x -1   for a slope of 2  it looks like  -5 =(2) (-4) + 3  or y = mx - (5+mx)

                                                                                                                                                 3                      -5 =(3)(-4) + 7

                                                                                                                                                 4                      -5=(4)(-4)  + 11

SO the only thing I can tell you is the equation of any line through that point is   y = mx - (5+mx)    where m = slope
