x^2-1/16x * 4x^2 / 5x + 5

how do you simplify this?

$$x^2-1 over 16x * 4x^2 over 5x + 5$$

Re: x^2-1/16x * 4x^2 / 5x + 5

This is what you have asked - I suspect it is not what you really meant.

$$x^2-\frac{1}{16}\times x\times4\times\frac{x^2}{5}\times x +5\\\\
=x^2-\frac{4x^4}{80} +5\\\\
=x^2-\frac{x^4}{20} +5\\\\$$

If you meant something different, work out where your brackets need to be and make a brand new post.

That is probably the best way.
