so if 2(-2)-3 ok 2*2=-4 and -3 is 7 cus 2 neg makes a positive right???? but teacher said it was -7 HOW??? please explain pefer rain not hayley

However, the problem is like this---> -2(-3) MINUS 2. So what the problem is asking is what 2(-2) MINUS 3 is.
So, this is the real answer: 2*-2=-4 -4-3=-7
