1.

I got a=20 and b=20, so 400, why isn’t it the largest already?

2.

Came up with:

If x is a number bigger than 15 and 20, then x can be the median or 25.
If x is bigger than 25, then 25 is the median
If x is the biggest number, then 25 is the median.
If x is the smallest number, then 20 is the median.

Then I don’t know...

3.

1)

I think a = 15  and   b=30..............and so: a x b = 15 x 30 = 450.

Um...15+2(30)=75, not 60...

mean {15, 20, 22, 25, 30} = 22.4

median {15, 20, 22, 25, 30}=22

Also, x=37 seems to work

mean {15, 20, 25, 30, 37}=25.4

median {15, 20, 25, 30, 37}=25

Note: there may others!!!!

Yep, there are others. I listed all of them out and got 12 too.

a=30 and b=15 =30 + (2*15) =60. So, ab =30*15 =450 !!!!!.

I think you made a mistake, HelpPls, but I am glad that you are attempting this.

I noticed this error in your work:

$$\left(4\triangle\frac{3}{8}\right)=\frac{\sqrt{4*\frac{3}{8}}}{\left|4-\frac{3}{8}\right|}\Rightarrow\frac{\frac{3}{2}}{\frac{32}{8}-\frac{3}{8}}$$

The square root operator suddenly disappeared. Otherwise, though, I think you did well with evaluating this.
