There are  46 total  students  in the class

Those that play football only  =  14 - 8  =  6

Those that play cricket only  = 20 - 8  =  12

So....those that play football,  cricket or both  = 6 + 12 + 8   =  26

So...the porbability that a student plays football, cricket or both is

26 / 46  =

13 / 23

you made a mistake the total is out of 30 because 6+12+8+4=30 so it is 26/30
