Proving shapes similair.

I know all of the different ways that you can prove a triangle similar, but somehow it doesn't translate over to quadrilaterals. For example, SSSS similarity doesn't work for quadrilaterals. How would I know whether or not a quadrilateral is similar or read more ..

HARD QUESTION: Proving DX is the same value

Rectangle ABCD contains a point X such that AX=1, BX=7, and CX=8. Find DX, then prove DX is the same value no matter what size and shape rectangle you have that fulfills these requirements.
I solved for DX, but I don't know how to do read more ..

Inscribed Quadrilaterals.

What type of quadrilaterals have a circumcircle? How would I know that such a quadrilateral is circumscribable? This would help in using brahmgupta's formula on math competitions.
