Subtract 2Pi*r^2 from both sides of the equation. then 2Pir*h= 1435-2Pir^2 next divide both sides by 2Pir giving h= (1435-2Pir^2)/2Pir . substitute 4.87 for r and the calculator value for Pi and you can get a numerical value for h.

sin-1 means{ the angle whose sin is): it is sometimes called arcsin. on the calculator if you press 2nd sin and enter .5 you will see an answer of 30 because sin 30 degrees = .5, assuming the calculator is in degree mode

In a 30, 60, 90 triangle, The sides are in the ratio 1, (sq. rt. of 3), 2, respectively.If the side opposite 30 degree angle =2, then the side opposite the 90 degree angle would =4. What is the length of the side opposite the 60 degree angle?
