vertex -3,-2
parabole in vetex form
y = a (x+3)2 -2
sub in a convenient point on the graph -1 , 2 sub into the equation to calc 'a' = 1
y = (x+3)2 - 2
1x+sqrt((14^-2)/17) this looks incomplete....is there more? ' = ' ?
1x + sqrt (1/((142)(17))
1x + 1/14 sqrt (1/17)
Find the slope (y1-y2) / (x1-x2) = -1
y = -1 (x ) + b put in one of the points to calculate 'b'
1 = -1(2) + b
1 = -2 + b
b = 3
y = -x +3
there are two (or more) factors multiplied together to produce 6x^2+48x+96
so the factors should divide into this with no remainder....
if you 'factor' 6x^2 + 48x + 96 you will get 6 (x+4)(x+4) these are three factors
2y + 5x = 90
2y + 5x + y + 7x = 180 or 3y + 12x = 180
Can you solve the equations?
Start fully charged 100 %
run hyper 4/20 consumed leaves 16/20 16/20 x 100% = 80 % left
run turbo 16/40 leaves 24/40 of remaining battery 24/40 x 80% = 48% battery left
Normal speed runs for one hour with 100% but only 48% of an hour of battery is left 48% x 60 minutes = 28.8 minutes
r + c = 20 or c = 20 - r use this for 'c' in the second equation
.75 r + .5 (20 - r) = 12.00 now you can easily solve for 'r' then c = 20 - r
Find two good points -3 -2 and 1, 0
find slope (-2 -0) / (-3-1) = 1/2
(y+2) = 1/2 (x+3) is the equation of the line re-arrange to y = 1/2 x - 1/2
The LINE is dashed and not included in the area above the line so y > 1/2 x - 1/2
You ran a total of 600 m in 12 min
600 m / 12 min = ......... m/min average
That is what I THOUGHT the answer MIGHT be.....but the question states KM is '3' in the ratio 2:1:3
I believe it should state LM is '3' in the 2:1:3 which it looks as though your answer assumed (o/w the answers would not be integers)
