     58 = 2 +(n-1)(4)

I believe that would be you CUMULATIVE GPA.....which takes in to account all of you semesters' grades.....

Misread the question at first...

This is an arithmetic sequence to which the total is added to 63

Sn = n(a1+an)/2

an = a30 = a1+(n-1)d     =  23 + 29(7) = 226

Sn= 30(23+226)/2    +63=  page 3798

x = 2person tent      then  6-x = 4 person tent

2 *x  +   4 (6-x) = 18 persons

2x +24-4x = 18

-2x = -6

x = 3    two person tents
