Ask him. Or see what happens when you talk to him. If he is trying to find a way to have slight physical contact that may be a pinpoint but not always. See if he blushes a little when you talk to him. Or when his friends are around check to see if they look at you allot while the person you like is around. They may be pinpointing that he likes you.
