2x + 60 = 5x -45
60 = (5x-2x) -45
60 + 45 = 3x
105 = 3x
105/3 = 3x/3
35 = x

Well then I am sorry that I am dumb and can't tell between what is and what looks like.
15=-3(x-1)+9
15-9=-3(x-1)
6=-3x+3
6-3=-3x
3=-3x
3/-3=-3x/-3
-1=x
15=-3(-1-1)+9
15=3+3+9
15=6+9
15=15
so the answer is x=-1

you don't type it. In the corner of the calculator there will be a button that says 2nd. Click that and there will be a button called asin. that is sin^-1
