(6 x 10^-6) / (-3 x 10^0)
= -2 x 10^-6
Like this?
(23456 * 654)^-23
= 15340224^-23
= 1.53 x 10^-30
Yep, if you can't write it as a fraction with only integers, it's irrational.
There are multiple ways to do this. I will show you the simplest.
First, we must make each equation equal y.
-3x +8y = 5
8y = 5 +3x
y = 5/8 +3x/8
6x -2y = 10
-2y = 10 -6x
y = -5 +3x
Now because both equations equal y, we can say they equal each other.
5/8 +3x/8 = -5 +3x
45/8 = 21x/8
45 = 21x
x ≈ 2.14
The formula for simple interest is:
Original Money x Interest / 100 x (time / time for interest to do one "cycle")
Cycle isn't the right word, put it's the per annum or per day bit.
7,800 x 4.8 / 100 x (8 / 12)
= 37,440 / 100 x 0.75
= 374 x 0.75
= 280.50$
This means you end up with 8080.50$ if you include the original money.
Please, add more detail. Do you need to simplify it? Find 3 possible solutions? Write it as a linear equation?
I'm guessing you want to simplify this.
3 (0.5x + 0.4y) + 15 (0.3x - 0.8y)
= 1.5x + 1.2y + 4.5x - 12y
= 6x -10.8y
There is a unit converter, but it does not include angles.
It is accesible by clicking on "scientific" at the top right of the calculator, and then selecting "Unit Converter" under "Input Helpers".
There is probably a formula for this, but let's do it by hand because they're easy numbers.
Factors of 10: 1, 2, 5, 10,
Factors of 45: 1, 3, 5, 9, 15, 45,
Then we look at the factors they share and we get: 1, 5,
The formula for discounts is:
discount / 100 x price
If we apply this to your problem:
24 / 100 x 995
= 0.24 x 995
= 238.8 (insert currency here)
To find the new price, simply take the discount off the full price:
995 - 238.8
= 756.2 (insert currency here)
