You need a value for x and F(x) before you can find a value for a.
A quadratic equation has two solutions, so "all" solutions would be two in that case.
"All" doesn't necessarily mean an infinite number.

I don't know how the calculator here does it, but if you look at the longhand way I showed, you should be able to apply this in other situations too.

This is 5!/(0!(5-0)!) → 5!/(1*5!) → 5!/5! → 1
It's only the 08 that is repeated, not the 3.

1000x = 308.080808.....
1000x - 10x = 308.080808... - 3.080808...
990x = 305
x = 305/990 = 61/198
