sorry, i couldn't understand the formatting in your question so i tried my best.

you need 12 oz butter:

1 tbsp = 3 tsp

1 tbsp = 1/12 (\frac12 i guess?) oz butter

multipply 1/12  equation by 144 to get 12 oz butter so

144 tbsp = 12 oz butter

multiply 144 by 3 bc 1 tbsp = 3 tsp so

144 tbsp = 432 tsp

teaspoon = tsp

tablespoon= tbsp

oz = ounce

what's \frac12? cphill isn't the only one who can help you here so please be patient.
