There seems to be a small mistake. A(1) = 3 - 2 + 4 = 5. 

So the answer is 11- 5, which is 6.

Notice how the 2 answers are negative of each other. -a + a = 0

So our answer is 0.

It's disgusting how people cheat. 

I've seen way too many questions of competitions that I've done and are still running (there's usually a time frame for it to be completed). 

I try to avoid answering any questions when I know a competition I'm doing is happening since it'd be cheating if I had seen/solved the questions beforehand. 

However, I doubt there's any real method to prevent cheating other than reporting the person, and quite simply, the chance of someone recongnizing a question used for cheating before someone else answers it is quite low. 

Perhaps CPhill, Melody, Alan, Asinus, or any other moderator could contact websites like AOPS, AMC, or MathCounts to get a database of questions that are on tests that they can ban. But that'd be kinda hard to do.

I'm really bad at explaining, so bare with me here.

But, once the ant walks to an adjacent vertice of A, there are 4 paths for the ant to take, one of the paths lead to the vertex B. 

So 1/4 is our answer. :))

The number of 0s are the number of 10s in the factor. 

This is also the number of 2 and 5s. 

But because there are always gonna be more 2s than 5s, we just need to count the number of 5s. 

For example in 10!, there are 2 fives. One 5 from 5 and one 5 from 10.

So 10! has 2 zeros. 

Try counting the number of 5s.

It looks like ABC needs to be multiplied by 2.5 to get to DEF. 25/10 = 2.5 or 40/15 = 2.5 or 50/20 = 2.5. 

So I think K = 2.5. :))
