So if sin(45°) is sqrt(2)/2
How is 12*sin(45°) = 12*sqrt(2)/6
Should it not be 12*sqrt(2)/2 ?
If the plane was flaying parallel to the ground at 7000 feet, 5 miles out, would the angle be -14.8497 (-15 degrees)?
