You'll need to combind conjugates with rationalizing a cube root.
See if this helps.
You.....well, you already explained it to Melody and I so we're all good now.
Edit: Anyone who reads this... the post above has a question in white text...

I set up this equation where x is a1: x= 1+2/(1+x). I set a and a+1 to the same thing because this function repeats to infinity. Solving for x in my equation, we get a1= (B) sqrt 3.
Hope it helps!
It's a trademark I guess.
I have to give my answer some enthusiasm...
To help you see what you did wrong, 5% is roughly 1/20. If 150,000 was 1/20 of 7.8 billion that means that 150,000 * 20= 7.8 billion. But it doesn't showing something is wrong with your computation.
Cancelling out zero's helps... 150000/7800000000= 15/780000= 1/52000. Converting to a percent, we multiply this by 100 to get 100/52000= 1/520= .0019230769% or .002% by rounding.
Creating a two-way tables helps you visualize the problem. If you know that 11 people passed the test, then 10 people did not pass the test. 4 people didn't do their homework and didn't pass the test which means 6 people did the homework but did not pass the test. We also know that 14 students did their homework meaning that 14-6= 8 students did their homework and passed the test.
The only answer that is correct is 3 because Tim's cat has a greater mass.
Hope this helps!
