Evaluate g(x)=x^2 for f(2+h)
So basically that means you plug in (2+h) for every x in the equation.
So that would be:
g(x)=(2+h)^2
=(2+h) * (2+h)
Then, multiply it out.

8*5+8*1-2*6+6-2*2-1
Es:
(8*5)+(8*1) - (2*6) + 6 - (2*2) -1
Primero, resuelve los números en paréntesis.
(40) + (8) - (12) + 6 - (4) -1
Después, suma y resta.
40+8-12+6-4-1
=37

There are 6 of them, used to calculate the measure of angles of a right triangle.
An example would be Sine=opposite side/hypotenuse (sin=opp/hyp)

w^2=20
So take the square root of both sides of the equation.
w= sqrt(20)
sqrt(20) can be further simplified.
sqrt(20)
=sqrt(4*5)
4 is a square number (2 squared), so take it outside the square root symbol.
Now it is 2 * sqrt(5)

y=2x+4
If you're solving for y, then let x=0.
y= 2(0)+4

What is the distance between the points (–5, –9) and (–5, 13)?
Since they have the same x-value, -5, that means this is conveniently a vertical line.
So the distance is just the distance (number of units) from -9 to 13.
This is the number of units you count if you start at -9 and end at 13.
Or, you could just find -9 minus 13, but leave out the negative sign afterwards, b/c the number of units is positive.

-9- -13/3
subtracting a negative number is the same as adding a positive number, since the negatives cancel out.
So -9- -13/3 would be:
-9 + 13/3
this is the same as subtracting 9 from 13/3
=13/3 - (9*3)/3
=13/3 - 27/3
=14/3
