We can find the semicircle which has a Radius of one. The formula of finding the area of the
half circle is 1/2\(\pi\)r^2. We know that the radius is one so we plug in that 1 for r. So our area of the semicircle is 1/2\(\pi \)
We can easily find the area of the rectangle which is 32cm.
Now we have our last figure which is the triangle. As shown, we know that the height of the triangle is 5cma and the base is 2 cm
1/2 x 2 x 5 = 5cm
Now we add all of the area 32cm + 5cm and 1.6cm ( which is half of pi) and the answer is 38.6cm^2
Hope this helps!
