All you have to do is
K - 0.6 = 9
So just reverse it to find the remaining kilometers(K); 9 - 0.6 = K

If you want an answer we have to know what x equals or what the equation equals.
but if your looking for a simplified answer then you just need to combine the like terms.

You just have to plug in the V's for 7's.

Just to make it easier you would want to do 5 over 4. Then just divide both the denominator and numerator by 4 then you'll just get 0.8 over 1. So you'll have 0.8 salami for 1 oz.

You reverse what your doing, you need to multiply to get 9.6 so you divide 9.6 by 1.2 so 9.6/1.2=b. So 8 would be B.
