We at the beginning we know that angle a = 45. Then we know that the total triangle has 180 degrees, 180 - 45 - 60 = 75 = angle b. We know that a straight line has 180 degrees. 180 - 68 - 75 = 37 = angle c, we use triangle formula again. 180 - 100 - 37 = 43. We use straight line 180 degree thing agIN, 180 - 43 = 137 = angle d

Angle A = 45 degrees

Angle B = 75 degrees

Angle C = 37 degrees

Angle D = 137 degrees

We make an equation, x is the width and the length is y.

2x-5 = y, 2x + 2y = 104

This means that we can put y in that equation. 2x + 4x - 10 = 104, we add 10 to both sides and we get 6x =  114. x = 114/6 = 19

x = 19 

Now we find y, 19x2 = 38. 38-5 = 33

y = 33

The width is 19 and the length is 33.

I think I got it now, they use letters to replacce numbers, for example 43A₁₂  converted to base 10 is, 11 x 1 + 3x12 + 144x4.

But is there base 1000?

But, I would like to think of it a different way.

0.9 cannot be equal to 1 only \(0.\overline{9}\) can. If you are meaning\(0.\overline{9}\) then, I can show you how to do it.

1/9 = \(0.\overline{1}\)

2/9 = \(0.\overline{2}\)

3/9 = 1/3 = \(0.\overline{3}\)

And so on this means that when we come to 9/9 = \(0.\overline{9}\)=1

We know that x-3 = 4x-15 so we can just factorize I think. 

1.x-3 = 4x-15

2.x=4x-12

3.0=3x-12

4.12=3x

5.x=4

The answer is 4

So if Aman can finish the "work" in 8 days, then in 4 days he can finish the \(\frac{1}{2}\)of the work. And since Amit can finish it in 20 days, in 4 days\(\frac{1}{5}\)of the work. 1/2 + 1/5 = 7/10. 10/10 - 7/10 = 3/10. Then that means in 4 days Ajay can finish 3/10 of the work. Which means that Ajay can finish it in 4/3 x 10 = 40/3 days.
