I think a slight problem to your solution is that you are saying our (X,Y) can be equal to 5 but the quesiton doesn't want our pieces to even equal to five. Would this change your solution? I haven't entered anything. I wanted to check before doing any submitting.

Sorry I have already solved this problem. Also your answer what incorrect. 

let's just say they all have one worker. A is 5 times more then B = 5 

C is 3 times more then B = 3 

Meaning A have 5/3 more workers then C

Can you rationalize the demoninator? 

Cube roots mean that it takes three numbers to get that one number

Because these are cube roots so it's cube root of 9 

This question's hint was to use the Vieta's Formula reverse

add all the ratio numbers and then divide it by how many marbles there are. 

1+2+3+4=10 

180/10=18

18x3=54

54 blue marbles

We need to add all the ratio numbers which equal 10. 

10x = 180

x = 18

Blue = x multiply 3

Add three to both sides and divide 2 by both sides which should give 2x = 6 which gives x = 3
