Hello, lets start:
x-(21x/100) = 275000 => Now we just subtract x from the fraction 21x/100. Here's how: http://www.mathsisfun.com/fractions_subtraction.html
And we got =>

(100x-21x)/100 = 275000 => 79x/100 = 275000 =>[/*:m][/list:u]
Now we multiply with 100 from both sides:
[list]

=> 100 * (79x/100) = 100 * 275000 => 79x=27500000[/*:m][/list:u]
Then, we divide with 79 from both sides:
[list]

=> 79x/79 = 27500000/79 => x = 27500000/79[/*:m][/list:u]

Remeber that: (a-b) ² = a ²-2ab+b ²
So you have:
(w-13)(w-13)=16 =>
(w-13) ²=16 =>
w ²-2w*13+13 ²=16 =>
w ²-26w+153=0 =>

Hello! The answer "6" is wrong. This could be 6 if it was e^((ln(3)+ln(2)).
You can write e^((ln(3)*ln(2)) as:

2^(ln(3))

So, the final result is: 2.1414860639032773

Hello Lt_Soul,
We are searching a line e: y=mx+b.
If e(line) parallel to y=2x+5 then the two lines have the same Slope! So m=2.
Also, if the point A(-7, -9) we can easy find b:
(y-y_A)=m(x-x_A) => (y-(-9))=2*(x-(-7))

(y-(-9))=2*(x-(-7))

Finally, the line which is parallel to y=2x+5 and passes through the point (-7, -9) is the line y=2x+5
