Sorry for late resopnse... but thank you!
Here's a start...
In the equation 3a + 4b = 7, you can multiply through by 3 to get 9a + 12b = 21.
Next, in the equation 6a + 4b = k - 3a - 8b you can start by simplifying to 4a + 8b = k.
Notice that all the numbers will be a factor of 9; no matter what x is, under certain conditions it will be a difference of multiples of 9.
Have you tried using the formula- \(d=st\) (or d=rt, whatever you want to call it); distance=speed*time.
X = 0
1+1/x=0
x+1=0
x=-1
1+1/(1+1/x) = 0
1 + 1/x + 1 = 0
2+ 1/x = 0
2x +1 = 0
2x = -1
x = -1/2
0+(-1)+(-1/2)=-3/2
10 and 2 o'clock.
The numerical part is 4*8=32.

Thank you CPhill!

I would recommend you start by finding the angle of the n-sided polygon which is 360-90-120-60 = 90 degrees. Since a square is the only regular n-sided polygon with angles of 90 degrees, we know that n = 4.
